Farmers are Cool

Celebrate Farmers. Support Agriculture.

Bardwell Farm of Hatfield, MA

This morning I had a lovely phone conversation with Harrison Bardwell of his namesake farm, Bardwell Farm, in Hatfield, MA. This was one of the interviews for the Farmers are Cool anchor radio station that I host.

Bardwell Farm is a piece of land that has been in the Bardwell family for hundreds of years, but Harrison has taken up farming (12 acres right now) on it again after being inspired by his grandfather. He has a farm stand too! So if you’re in the area, stop by and support.

In our talk, we covered some of the challenges and benefits of being a farmer. Harrison shares how he is navigating the business aspects of farming at the same time being responsible for all the produce!
